Android Wear Updates, Supports Moto 360 and LG G Watch

Moto 360 and LG G WatchAfter the Android Wear 4.4W.1 update last month, Google has launched the latest Android Wear 4.4W.2 update, which includes a number of new features for users smartwatch. This is the second of a series of updates to the Android platform announced by Google Wear since last month.

Reporting from gadgets. ndtv, Google did not formally announce this update. However, Motorola has announced an update for the Moto 360 in its official blog along with an accompanying changelog.

The latest update makes the Moto 360 smartwatch will save battery after crossing the 15% mark by automatically turning off the ambient mode. The watch will also adapt the lighting display on the environment while being charged. The watch will also increase the frequency of inspection time paired with a Smartphone. In addition, users will be able to connect a Bluetooth headset and other Bluetooth audio devices with the smartwatch. And these features are also found in the LG G Watch when Android Wear 4.4W.2 updates.

One of the features included in the Android Wear 4.4W.2 update is the ability to remove the notification and set the zoom to the bottom of the screen.

Interestingly, the Android 4.4W.2 Wear update also includes Play Video UI that displays the volume buttons, in addition to adding support for offline music, and GPS support. However, GPS support will only work with the Sony SmartWatch 3 because it is the only Android devices that support for the features Wear GPS chip.
