OS X Yosemite Features Not Working at All Macs

OS X YosemiteAs iOS 8, OS X Yosemite version 10:10 presents a new feature. However, not all of these new features can be enjoyed throughout the Mac models available.

According GeekyGadget, through official upgrade guide on its website, Apple lists the minimum requirements that must be met before the device is running OS X Yosemite.

Apple also provides a list of devices that support new features such as handoff and Continuity.

According to the company based in Cupertino, OS X Yosemite can run on most Macs output in 2007 as the iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini, Mac Pro, and Xserve.

First of all, Handoff and Instant Hotspot feature can only be used on the MacBook and iMac in 2012 or so. For Mac Pro, both of these features can only be used in the 2013 model year.

Another feature that cannot be found on all Macs are AirDrop between Mac and iOS.

According to Apple, a feature that connects the two devices can only be supported by Mac in 2012 or so and Mac Pro 2013
